О себе: I am a DELTA - qualified teacher. My educational background counts an Italian Bachelor's Degree in Translation and Interpreting as well as German Master's Degree in Linguistics, Cultural Studies and Translation.
I have been teaching since 2009 in Europe and in Canada at universities, colleges and private language schools.
I teach international students, newcomers as well as professionals.
In 2018, I received the Excellence in Teaching Award at the University of Toronto.
By teaching a wide variety of students from different linguistic backgrounds, I have improved my communication skills and teaching abilities.
Being a language learner myself (I speak English, Italian and German), I know what is like to learn a new language. This is why I develop task-based lessons where you are in the driver's seat!
Throughout the different tasks, we will explore the language and you will put your knowledge and learning into real-life communication.
I always try to use authentic materials where the real language comes out and where natural language is spoken.
Last but not least, I teach Business English and exam-preparation courses (IELTS, TOEFL and CELPIP).
